The 1995 Prestige Set was a special coin set issued by the United States Mint to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the end of the American Civil War. The set includes a total of seven coins, all of which are struck in proof quality and have a commemorative design. The coins in the set are as follows: One silver dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Antietam One silver dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Gettysburg One silver dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Shiloh One silver dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Vicksburg One half-dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Cold Harbor One half-dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Atlanta One half-dollar featuring a design commemorating the Battle of Chancellorsville All of the coins in the set are legal tender in the United States, with the silver dollars containing 90% silver and the half-dollars containing 92% copper and 8% nickel. The set was limited to a mintage of 150,000 and was sold by the US Mint for $52.50 per set when it was first released.
