The $20 Saint Gauden is a very famous 1oz Gold coin. Originally introduced in 1907. President Theodore Roosevelt in 1905 commissioned. Augustus Saint Gauden to design a $20 1oz Gold coin. On the label you will notice that it says ” No Motto “. In 1908 President Theodore Roosevelt decided that he did not want “In God We Trust ‘ on the coin. So some of the 1908 $20 Saint Gauden do not have in God We Trust on the coin. The series ran from 1907-1928. The coin was graded in MS 64 by PCGS and is currently 115 years old.
